Ground Rules

Use PractiqAI with confidence

Your data stays yours

We never sell prompts, telemetry, or course progress. Access is limited to the teams that operate PractiqAI and provide support.

No surprises

Every processing activity is documented in plain language so legal and compliance teams understand how we protect learner data.

Easy controls

Download, delete, or update account data directly from settings or by emailing our legal team - no extra portals needed.

Human support

Reach the people behind PractiqAI for data questions, security incidents, or contract reviews at any time.

01Section

Account eligibility & responsibilities

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a contract to use PractiqAI.

By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you will maintain updated contact details. Organization administrators may create accounts for their teammates, but each user is responsible for actions taken under their credentials.

Account security

Keep your password confidential, enable MFA when available, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.

Use on behalf of a company

If you access PractiqAI for an employer, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Compliance with laws

You agree to comply with export controls, sanctions, and local regulations governing AI tooling and educational software.

02Section

Acceptable use & community guidelines

PractiqAI is a professional learning environment. Abusive behavior or misuse of the platform is prohibited.

Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or personal data that you do not own. Avoid tasks that infringe intellectual property or violate privacy rights. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Prohibited conduct

Reverse engineering security features, probing infrastructure, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts.

Fair usage

Automated scraping, excessive API polling, or circumventing rate limits is not allowed. Contact support if you need expanded limits for training or demos.

Community interactions

Harassment, hateful speech, or sharing other users' work without permission may lead to immediate termination.

Email support@practiqai.com with timestamps, screenshots, or task IDs so we can investigate policy violations quickly.

03Section

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellations

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. We clearly display pricing before you enter payment details.

Charges are billed in advance for the selected term (monthly or annually). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current cycle and you retain access until that time.

Trials and promotions

Free trials convert to paid plans unless you cancel before the trial ends. Promotional pricing applies only for the stated duration.

Taxes

You are responsible for applicable taxes. When required we will collect and remit taxes based on the billing address you provide.

Disputed payments

Contact support before initiating a chargeback. We may suspend accounts involved in payment disputes until resolved.

04Section

AI outputs, content ownership, and availability

You own the prompts and submissions you provide. PractiqAI grants you a license to use platform outputs subject to these terms.

Our models and evaluation heuristics may occasionally produce inaccurate or offensive content. Use discretion before acting on recommendations. We may update models at any time to improve quality or safety.

License to your content

You grant PractiqAI a non-exclusive license to process your submissions solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Service availability

We aim for >99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be posted on the status page.

Feedback

If you provide product feedback, we may use it without restriction but without obligation to compensate you.

Certificates & public verification

Sharing a certificate verification link or ID makes certain certificate details visible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for where you post or share such links.

05Section

Intellectual property

PractiqAI retains all rights to the platform, branding, and content we provide. You retain ownership of your submissions.

Our materials

The service, documentation, course materials, UI, logos, and underlying technology are owned by PractiqAI and its licensors and are protected by IP laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

Your submissions

You own prompts and content you upload. You grant PractiqAI a non‑exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display your submissions solely to operate and improve the service and as otherwise permitted by these terms.

06Section

Third‑party services & links

The service may integrate with providers such as Stripe (payments) and analytics or hosting services.

Your use of third‑party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. PractiqAI is not responsible for third‑party content, products, or services and does not warrant their availability.

07Section

Beta, preview, and experimental features

We may offer features labeled Beta, Preview, or Experimental with reduced or different support and uptime expectations.

These features are provided as‑is and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time. Feedback you provide may be used to improve them without obligation to compensate you.

08Section

Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

PractiqAI and its suppliers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error‑free.

09Section

Limitation of liability

We limit our liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

Exclusion of damages

Neither PractiqAI nor its suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption).

Cap

Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid to PractiqAI for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability.

10Section

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless PractiqAI from third‑party claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

This includes reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, to the extent permitted by law.

11Section

Copyright complaints

If you believe content infringes your rights, notify us so we can investigate.

Send a detailed notice to legal@practiqai.com including your contact information, identification of the work claimed to be infringed, the allegedly infringing material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized.

12Section

Termination, governing law, and changes

We may suspend the service for violations or to protect the platform. You can cancel at any time through settings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts unless another venue is mandated by consumer protection rules.

Termination by you

Close your account from settings or by emailing support. Once deleted, we cannot recover learning history.

Termination by PractiqAI

We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, create risk for other users, or fail to pay fees.

Updates to these terms

We will post updates on this page and change the 'Last updated' date. Material changes include email or in-app notifications at least 30 days in advance.
